Founded by Naibe Reynoso, a Mexican-American multi-Emmy award-winning journalist and mother, Con Todo Press is an L.A.-based publishing company that creates books to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities.

Luca Essential Living

An ambassador for eco-conscious living, owner Judith Goldstein’s one-stop non-toxic shop stocks sustainable plant-based beauty and skincare, eco-friendly cleaning products, safe toys for babies, and so much more. Simply put, Luca is the clean alternative to a commercial drugstore.

DEHV Candle Co.

Beauty industry veteran Jade Eknaian created Dehv Candle Co. as a way to bring high quality, sustainable, clean burning candles with a modern look and selection of scents that spoke to all. Her travel-inspired candles are made with non-GMO soy wax and the natural concrete vessels contain no polymers or polyesters.

Manahan & Co.

Based in Chinatown, husband-and-wife team Darwin and Nikki Manahan are known for their handmade aprons, picnic blankets, headbands, and accessories. When the pandemic hit, they were among the first to quickly pivot into making face masks.

Delusions of Grandeur

Known for its playful, geometric jewelry, Delusions of Grandeur was created by L.A. designer Keren Kemp. Her pieces embrace simple forms, bold colors, and are inspired by elements of nature, architectural forms, and urban living.


Run by Leah Park Fierro, this Eagle Rock fromage shop is a haven for artisanal cheese, wine, a delicious selection of snacks, and unique gifts for the foodies and charcuterie board aficionados in your life.

Elique Organics

Created by clean beauty industry veteran Elisha Reverby, this luxury food-based skincare company is truly a gift for your body. Her ingredients are sustainably sourced (even the honey comes from chemical treatment-free bees!) and you can actually feel the difference in her products. Elisha has never sacrificed the vision of her business, opting to keep it privately-owned so she can keep working with local farmers.


Founded by Whitney Bickers in 2011, online boutique Myrtle focuses on independent women designers. Featuring labels like Ace & Jig, Dusen Dusen, Samantha Pleet, and Bickers’ own in-house line, it’s easy to see why Myrtle’s colorful, effortless, and stylish pieces are a staple for L.A.’s fashion community.

First Language

Sisters Christina and Katherine Delgado give new life to old favorites via their small-batch, hand-dyed pieces. First Language Shop uses eco-friendly dyes and sustainable fabrics to create colorful tea towels, tie-dye shirts, socks, and other essentials, and the company also offers a custom dye service.

Paper & Type

Described as a “petite graphic design co.,” this beautiful Silver Lake business was created by designer Victoria Vu and sells thoughtful, delicate printed goods inspired by nature. From blank cards to planners, Paper & Type offers dreamy gifts and desk companions.

Goo Salon

Established in 1999 on Fairfax, this salon encapsulates the district’s vibrant, badass attitude. Founded and run by vivacious hairstylist Molly Scargall, Goo was a pioneer of Melrose’s eclectic shopping scene and offers cuts, color, braids, and extensions as well as haircare products.

Rady Creations

A watercolor artist and a digital illustrator, offering handmade, affordable, and personally curated artwork for homes. Follow Rady Creations on Instagram to watch videos of the owner, Radhika, create her works of art. 


Created by Yvonne Leung, Hereafter.LA creates beautiful, wood-worked keepsakes from primarily organic and sustainable materials. The mission is to create personalized mementos to be appreciated and remembered because “the little things add up,” and Leung’s thoughtful journals, etched storage boxes, cards, and more can be found at Anthropologie, Nordstrom, and many other big and small retailers across the U.S. 

The Ripped Bodice

Run by sisters Bea and Leah Koch in the heart of Culver City, this independent, one-of-a-kind romance bookstore is a sanctuary for those looking for an incredible range of exciting, often underrepresented authors and topics. Not to miss: their bathroom is papered with community-written affirmations on Post-It notes.
